The starting Crown line-up: Back Row LtoR: Njoku, Sovannrithy, Dara, Sovan, Obadin, Bunchhay. Front Row: Ota, Narith, Virak, Chaya, H Pheng
Half an hour ago Phnom Penh Crown beat the Cambodia U-19 national team 6-1 in a friendly match at the Olympic Stadium. The score was a bit one-sided but most of the goals came in the first-half when Crown fielded a pretty strong line-up. The U-19's scored first through PKR's Chea Samnang but then were made to pay for their indolence with Kingsley Njoku scoring a hat-trick, two for Hong Pheng and a 2nd half effort from Sok Pheng, during which both sides made numerous substitutions. The Crown starting line-up was: Bunchhay, Dara, Sovannrithy, Sovan, Obadin, Narith, Ota, Chata, Virak, Njoku, H Pheng. The playing substitutes, all in the 2nd half, were S Pheng, Narong, Ratana, Sophat, Sochivorn, Nwafor, Sophanal, Narith, Rathanak. The Cambodia U-19's included Preah Khan Reach's Suon Veasna, Chea Samnang, Moul Daravorn, Nen Sothearoth and Prak Mony Udom, National Police's Tith Dina and Naga's Soeung Monyroath from the start. The U-19's will be heading for Myanmar in September to take part in the nine country AFF U-19 Championships under head coach Prak Somony.
