Kirivong finish with a win

Prek Pra (yellow) and Kirivong (white) take to the field on Sunday
On Sunday Kirivong stuck three past Prek Pra without reply to end their season with a win and 5th place. The C-League's top scorer Julius Ononiwu netted two more to take his final tally to 25 goals for the season, and unless Teab Vathanak can come up with 4 goals in the two play-off games, Julius will win the Golden Boot award, taking the title from his Nigerian compatriot, Uche Prince Justine. The first-half was goal-less though Prek Pra's Min Kafa rattled the cross-bar with a twenty-yarder. Three minutes into the second period and Julius Ononiwu shook off the attentions of three defenders and scored with a neat low drive. Un Sopheak grabbed a second with a free header before Julius flexed his neck muscles to head home four minutes from the end. For the record, Julius had 7 shots in the match, three of them on target, resulting in two goals. Despite the loss, Prek Pra retained their C-League status, Kirivong will rue the opportunity to mount a serious challenge to the top 4 and referee Yien Kivatanak will be happy with his six bookings. He collects names like some people collect train numbers.
Kirivong signed-off their season with a win and 5th place
Prek Pra Keila will retain their C-League status for a 2nd term and were cock-a-hoop about it
