Final midweek action

The midweek matches in the Metfone C-League saw Prek Pra earn themselves another point from their final game, a surprising 0-0 draw with a disappointing Army, though if Chhlam Samuth overcome Kirivong on Saturday, then they will leapfrog over Prek Pra and escape relegation. The Sea Sharks very own cup final will kick off at 4pm. Preah Khan Reach booked their 3rd place finish in the C-League table with a straightforward 5-0 win over already-relegated Rithysen. They went 4-0 ahead by the interval through Khuon Laboravy, Sam Pidor, a Math Sary own goal and Phany Y Ratha, before the latter added a fifth on the hour. That was the final game for Kompong Chhnang-based Rithysen who drop out of the C-League after just one season and with just two points to show for their troubles. On Saturday, the other game is Police v BBU at 2pm before the curtain comes down on Sunday with the Phnom Penh Crown v Naga match at 3pm.
