Eat to win

The Crown players get stuck into the lunchtime buffet
In case anyone is concerned that the Phnom Penh Crown team are eating enough in Singapore, have no fears. The Santa Grand has provided well for the players, who have sated their hunger within reason and with restraint, especially as they are here to put up a good showing in tonight's RHB Singapore Cup against Tampines Rovers. Coach David Booth emphasized at the team meeting at noon that the whole team must work together, and for each other as a unit. The starting line-up was announced and hands went up to volunteer for penalties, if they're required - the match will be 90 minutes, extra time and then penalties if needed to decide this one-off tie. The players will have a bite to eat at 4.30pm and then leave for the Clementi Stadium an hour later, in good time for the 7.45pm kick-off. The Loyola Meralco Sparks team from the Philippines arrived at the hotel earlier today, they meet Geylang United on Friday in the only televised game of the preliminary round.

Lots of hungry mouths to feed
