Safe & sound

The Crown team on arrival in Changi Airport in Singapore - click to enlarge
The Phnom Penh Crown team arrived safely in Changi Airport - the best in the world in my opinion - at mid-day, whizzed through arrivals and headed straight for the team hotel at Santa Grand East Coast Hotel. Lunch was ready and waiting and the players are now relaxing before we head out for training at 5pm at the Tampines Rovers ground. We met at 7am this morning, Cambodian time, which is an hour behind Singapore. Our flight left half an hour late, took 1 hour 40 mins, flying at 450mph, according to the captain (and I don't mean Kouch Sokumpheak). The hotel is in a recently converted historical set of shop-houses and only opened in January. Rooms cost around $200 per night and it has a rooftop swimming pool. Right, we're off to training.
