The last of the new faces in the Phnom Penh Crown squad isn't actually a new face. Chhun Sovanna was a member of the Phnom Penh Empire team until 2009 when he left the then-named Crown. A midfield play maker, he began to show his talent for the game whilst playing his football at Tuol Svay Prey high school in the city. He's looking to make a fresh start with Crown this season.

So, he started with PPE when he was 12? Wow!
As I've said countless times, never believe the official ages of any footballer, or anyone for that matter, in Cambodia. Takes the age with a pinch of salt as my grandmother would say. I am merely repeating the age on the player's national ID.
In this instance, yes, he did begin his football very early, didn't he!
