ACT launch & fixtures

The official launch of the Asia U-16 Champions Trophy 2014 took place Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur. 12 teams from the Asian region, 68 matches, 40 of which will be televised live between 17 May and 30 August. Another fantastic opportunity for the Phnom Penh Crown Academy youngsters to perform on an Asian-wide stage and to gain the experience and exposure that will make them better players for the future. Crown open their ACT matches in China against Guangdong FA on Saturday 17 May. Former England and Liverpool star Steve McMahon was on hand to join the launch with representatives from each team including Crown's Ly Heang, their general secretary. The ACT fixtures have now been confirmed and all of Crown's home games will be played at the Olympic Stadium with a 9am morning kick-off time, to avoid clashing with the Metfone C-League matches.

Sat 7 Jun v Mandalay Utd Myanmar – Olympic Stadium 9am (live on Bayon TV)
Sat 14 Jun v Frenz Malaysia B – Olympic Stadium 9am (live on Bayon TV)
Sat 21 Jun v Lao Toyota – away 5pm
Sat 28 Jun v Guangdong FA China – Olympic Stadium 9am
Sat 5 Jul v Mandalay Myanmar – away 4pm
Sat 12 Jul v Chonburi Thailand – Olympic Stadium 9am
Mon 21 Jul v Chonburi Thailand – away 5pm.

The semis will be 9 & 16 August and the 2-legged final on 23 and 30 August.
