Dressing room talk by head coach David Booth before the game |
A few more pictures from yesterday's
AFC President's Cup
qualifier as Phnom Penh Crown successfully negotiated the Group Stage
for the second year running. Winning their first two group matches has
already put them through to the finals, which will be played 24-30
September at a location to be announced, depending on who the six
qualifiers are. Victories over Yeedzin and Nepal were warmly welcomed by
the home crowd, who would also love to see Crown beat the
highly-fancied Dordoi in the final match, essentially a dead rubber, at
4.30pm tomorrow at the Olympic Stadium. David Booth, the Crown coach, is
also eager to put on a good show against Dordoi, though he will be
without his best player this season, Emmanuel Frimpong, who still has
pain in his calf muscle. He will assess the fitness of a couple more
players before deciding on his final line-up.
