Clearly enough is enough. Lee Tae-Hoon's second stint as the coach of the Cambodian national football team must come to an end now. The latest disastrous SEA Games results, bar a draw with Thailand, has taken his record in competitive games to 18 defeats in 28 games, with just 4 victories to show for his more than two years in charge. In fact Cambodia has not won a single competitive match in 17 attempts. In what we could term serious friendlies, such as the recent matches
against Guam and in Singapore, the record is played 11 and won just two. But it's not just the series of defeats, it's the fact that we are no further forward than when he arrived in late 2010, and in my view, we are sinking further behind our regional neighbours. There has been zero progression at any level, there is no development program in place, there is no conveyor belt of young talent coming through, players who shine in domestic games are unable to reproduce that form at national team level, and tactically we are naive and negative when we meet other countries. There is a pressing need to overhaul the way we manage our national team set-up and clearly Lee Tae-Hoon is not the man to do it.

Your right Andy, it's a appalling record, even more staggering is that he was rehired! The FFC has a lot to answer for and they are probably blissfully unaware of just how bad coach Lee's record is and just how low Cambodian football stocks have fallen.
Yes, the rehiring episode beggars belief that we would be so clueless as to re-engage someone whose record was so appalling the first time around. Under Lee we have stagnated and are going backwards but it seems those in charge are happy with the situation. what does that tell us about their ambitions for the country's national team?
When Ange Postecoglou took over as coach of Australia recently, this is what he said:
"To everyone in the Football Family can I say what an honour it is to be named as coach of your team - the Socceroos. It is a huge responsibility because this team belongs to the country and the fans. The players, coaches and staff have the privilege of representing the nation, and we should never forget it's a privilege, not an entitlement".
Somewhere along the line the FFC have forgotten this fundamental ethos.
Those sentiments will do for me...what an intelligent bloke getting the fans on his side for the get go. Smart chap.
I rather have the entire federation dismissed. It is wonder that they are there in the first place.
no arguments from me, Anon.
