Result: Phnom Penh Crown Academy U-16s 1 Dong Thap U-16s 3 (Friendly).
The Crown Academy U-16s were made to pay for mistakes in defence as they were beaten 3-1 by Dong Thap FC in the second and final friendly at the Thanh Long Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam this afternoon. Their opponents took advantage with goals on 22 and 27 minutes and then the killer third goal on 64 minutes. Men Piphop pulled a goal back on 73 minutes as Crown did much better after the half-time break, but there was no way back. A tough test for the Crown Academy, who didn't start as fresh as they did against PVF two days earlier and paid for mistakes at the back.

SINGAPORE SIXES
Nine members of the Phnom Penh Crown Academy will be heading to Singapore for the weekend of 17 & 18 May to defend the Singapore Soccer Sixes Youth Tournament trophy they won at last year's competition. The tournament is played at the Padang, the bowling-green surface of the Singapore Cricket Club and is regarded as the most prestigious six-a-side competition in Asia. Last May the Academy team won 7 matches, scoring 25 goals without conceding a single goal, beating Phuket Youth Home 2-0 in the final. This time around, the youngest members of the Academy will make the trip.
