Titchhy screamer makes it even

Result: Phnom Penh Crown Academy U-16s 1 PVF U-16s 1 (Friendly). 
The Crown Academy U-16s are in Ho Chi Minh City and played the first of two friendly matches this afternoon against the PVF U-16s, who will also take part in the forthcoming Asia Champions Trophy, and who beat Crown twice last season. A fantastic team effort from the Academy boys produced a 1-1 draw with Sraing Titchhy scoring the Crown goal on 49 minutes. In Sodavid found Titchhy on the edge of the box and he hit a left foot screamer into the top corner to level the scores after PVF had gone ahead on 17 minutes. Coach Bouy Dary was pleased with his team's performance and felt his side played the better football for most of the game. The home team were a combined U-16 and U-15 side. The result will be a confidence-booster ahead of the Asean Champions Trophy that kicks off in the middle of next month. Their second tour match is against the Dong Thap FC U-16s on Wednesday at the Thanh Long Center, before they return to Phnom Penh.
